Jay West

Jay West is the Senior Director of Chemical Products and Technology at the American Chemistry Council, or ACC, in Washington, D.C. Among his current duties, he serves as the Executive Director of ACC’s Performance Fluoropolymer Partnership, a specialty trade association that operates at the state, national, and international levels. The Partnership’s members include companies that are global leaders and innovators in the manufacturing, processing, and use of fluoropolymers.

When not working to defend the future of fluoropolymers, Jay also serves as the head of the industry delegation to the Chemicals and Biotechnology Committee at the 38-country Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. There, he coordinates industry input on a broad spectrum of activities related to chemical testing, assessment, and management.
