  • Title: Chief Development Officer
  • Company: The Nuclear Company

Juliann Edwards is the Chief Development Officer at The Nuclear Company, bringing nearly 20 years of leadership in clean energy and workforce development. She currently serves as Chair of U.S. Women in Nuclear, a 5,000-member organization dedicated to advancing the role of women in the nuclear industry, and previously served on the board of Bruce Power—Canada’s only private-sector nuclear generator and the world’s largest operating nuclear facility.

Before joining The Nuclear Company, Juliann was Vice President of Power and Energy at TC Energy, where she led a 100-person team overseeing $16 billion in clean energy projects. Prior to that, she served as Vice President at EnergySolutions, an Energy Capital Partners portfolio company, where she managed multiple nuclear decommissioning transactions—providing firsthand insight into the challenges of removing large, clean, and stable energy sources from the grid.

Her career spans engineering, procurement, and construction roles at CB&I; federal work with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office supporting the small modular reactor firm mPower; and sales leadership at Edgen Murray, where she helped launch the company’s first ASME-certified nuclear power program.

Outside of her professional work, Juliann is a passionate advocate and fundraiser for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust in honor of her daughter, Lily. Her commitment to clean energy is deeply personal, rooted in her experience growing up in a region with poor environmental protections—a situation that contributed to her own journey as a cancer survivor.
