David N. Taylor serves as President & CEO of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association (PMA), the statewide trade organization representing the manufacturing sector in Pennsylvania’s public policy process. Now in his 28th year with PMA, he acts as the association’s chief spokesman at the state Capitol in Harrisburg and in the media. He also edits the PMA Bulletin and hosts PMA Perspective, a statewide television program on the Pennsylvania Cable Network.

A sought-after commentator, David hosts Capitol Watch, a biweekly news and commentary program on Lincoln Radio Journal, which airs on more than 90 radio stations across Pennsylvania.
He chairs the Pennsylvania Leadership Council and is a member of the American Enterprise Institute’s Leadership Network. His board service includes the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association, the Pennsylvania Steel Alliance, the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education, the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), and the Lincoln Institute for Public Opinion Research. He is a past chairman of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Civil Justice Reform and formerly served on the executive committee of the Conference of State Manufacturing Associations (COSMA).

David was appointed to Governor Tom Corbett’s Manufacturing Advisory Council and served on Attorney General Dave Sunday’s transition team. He currently serves as school board president of Reach Cyber Charter School, an online public school with a focus on STEM enrichment.

Before joining PMA, David worked in both the United States Senate and the Senate of Pennsylvania.

A native of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Dickinson College with a double major in History and Dramatic Arts. He is an Elder of the Huntingdon Presbyterian Church and a member of Central Pennsylvania MENSA. David lives near Hershey with his wife, Erica, and their daughter, Meredith.
